In 2001 the last cinema  in the Southside of Glasgow closed its doors. Ten years later, in 2011, Southside Film was launched to bring film back to the area. Southside Film now screens films and hosts film events year round across numerous venues.  Wherever we can put up a screen, we will!

We run screenings throughout the year- check out our screenings in November and December 2017 here

We are also doing a call out for volunteers -if you would like to volunteer with us get in touch before 20 November 2017! More info on volunteering here

The 2017 film festival ran from 2-4 June- you can see the print programme here and the daily programme here

This year’s film festival was  supported by Glasgow City Council and funded by the ScotRail Foundation managed by Foundation Scotland.
