Southside Film: Bringing film back to Glasgow’s Southside.

In 2001 the last cinema  in the Southside of Glasgow closed its doors. Ten years later, in 2011, Southside Film was launched to bring film back to the area. Southside Film now screens films and hosts film events year round across numerous venues.  Wherever we can put up a screen, we will!

This month, May 2016, we have two Autism friendly screenings of Inside Out  and Charlie & The Chocolate Factory in Loks Bar & Kitchen on 15 & 21 May. More info here

This summer we will pop up a bicycle and solar powered cinema called Wee Green Cinema over the weekend of 2-3 July, 2016 at Pollokshields Playhouse in association with Pollywood and supported by Big Lottery Awards for All.

Sign up to our mailing list using the form on the right of this page for more information or apply to volunteer with us for Wee Green Cinema here
